Using Jenny’s Canned Beef this makes a great lunch!
1 pt of Canned Beef
Beef bullion and 2 cups water
¼ tsp broken rosemary leaves (if beef is canned without)
Pepper to taste.
2 tbsp cornstarch and ¼ cup cold water.
Bring bullion, rosemary, pepper and water to a boil. Reduce heat and allow to simmer for 10 minutes for spices to blend.
Mix cornstarch with water thoroughly and slowly add to hot mixture. Stir constantly while adding beef. Allow to thicken slightly. Pour resulting gravy over broken toast, mashed potatoes or vegetable mixture.
